Several ways to close the wood veneer

Decorative panels are also called decorative panels and panels. Different from mixed oils, they are precisely cut from solid panels into decorative panels with a thickness of 2 to 18 mm. The veneer has a natural wood texture, which is very popular among designers.

1. Common specifications of decorative panels.

The common size of the decorative panel is 1220X240mm, but due to the special needs of some occasions, the model specifications of the decorative panel are also 1220X2440, 1220X3000, 1220X3200, 1220X3400, 1220X3600, 12220X3800mm.

The thickness is generally 2.5 mm, 3.0 mm, 3.6 mm, 4.0 mm, 6 mm, 9 mm, 12 mm, 18 mm, etc.

2. Construction technology of decorative panels.

a. Use integrated boards to make cabinets, or use wooden boards to flatten the bottom of the wall

b. Cut the wooden panel according to the required size and repair the edge

c. Apply nail-free glue to the required veneer position and the back of the wooden veneer, make close contact with the cabinet/wall, tap lightly with a hammer and wooden block to make the two come into close contact

d. Trimming operation: level the excess wooden veneer on the side, wrap it with veneer, polish and smooth, or not wrap it, and align the 45° chamfer of the wooden veneer

e. After installation, slowly tear off the protective film on the wooden trim.

The closing method of the veneer .

1. Common closing method.

The common closing methods include external angle closing, internal angle closing and ceiling closing.

Put your mouth in the sun corner.

When the male angle is 45, the width of the side plate of the male angle shall not exceed 600mm, and the force point of the male angle shall be fixed with a triangular support or reinforced with an L-shaped angle iron. When craft seams are left on one side of the male corner, the side with craft seams should avoid people's horizontal line of sight as much as possible, and the same stress points should be reinforced.

For assembled Begonia horns, Begonia horns need to be painted with leather paint. Integrated, the width of the side plate of the external angle shall not exceed 600mm, and the stress point of the external angle also needs to be reinforced.

Closure of the inner corner.

When the inner corner is closed, the inner corner should be reinforced with the same thickness of the base strip as the sling to prevent deformation and warping.

The inner corner craft seam and craft seam need to be pasted or painted, and the seam depth is the same as that of the large wood craft seam.

Closure between materials.

When the veneer and stone overlap the receiving port, the boundary should be 5X5mm or more and 10X10mm or less.

Overlapping receiving port for veneer and glass (mirror).

At the receiving port, in order to prevent the verticality error of the wood veneer , the later glass (mirror) cannot be installed, and a gap of 1~2mm is reserved between the wood veneer and the side mirror of the car. After the glass (mirror) is installed, choose a flexible glass paste close to the color.

Finishing of wood veneer and wallpaper.

It is recommended to add moldings when closing on the same plane. The moldings are slightly higher than the surface of the wallpaper. The wallpaper should be installed in the molding grooves.

The outside corner of the wallpaper can be straight with the corner strips, and the width of the inside corner of the wood veneer and the closing technical groove of the wallpaper cannot be too small. Otherwise, it will affect the supplement of painters and the cutting of wallpaper workers.
