Introduction of wooden veneer structure .
1. Wood veneer .
Based on wood-based panels, veneers (also known as veneer, veneer) are selected as decorative panels according to design requirements, and various decorative panels are manufactured by factory processing.
2. Single board.
Also known as veneer and veneer, it is a thin slice of wood material produced by planing. Generally speaking, the thickness of the veneer should be greater than 0.5 mm, and in special cases should not be less than 0.2 mm.
For the back of large and thin wood veneers, a balance layer should be added. The thickness of the veneer selected for the balance layer is generally 0.1-0.3 mm. With the development of science and technology, some projects have begun to use rotary cutting veneer, technical wood veneer, etc. Or directly use impregnated adhesive film paper to decorate the wood-based panel, so as to achieve a good decorative effect.
Common wood veneer base-layer man-made boards include plywood (GB/T9846), medium density fiberboard (GB/T11718) and so on.
The thickness of commonly used plywood and medium density fiberboard are 5mm, 9mm, 12mm, 15mm, 18mm, etc. The thickness of the basic man-made board of wood veneer used in a large area shall not be less than 12mm.
According to the different installation materials of the base layer, wood veneer can be divided into: metal keel base layer, wood keel base layer and so on. During construction, the installation method should be selected according to conditions such as environment, base level, and size.
Metal keel base layer.
Features: Good durability and wide application range. It is recommended to use it in the base layer or when the environmental humidity is high and the shape is not complicated.
Wooden keel base
Features: Good plasticity, lower cost than metal keel, simple process.
Installation method of wood veneer :
Adhesive method or dry hanging method can be adopted for finishing installation.
1. Dry hanging method is the installation method of fixing wooden veneer with pendants (positive and negative pendants), which is a common installation method of wooden veneers.
2. The pasting method is generally suitable for thin wood veneers that need to be covered. Wood veneers are usually fixed on the substrate with liquid nails (no nail glue).
